“We saw the SpaceX launch live from my grocery store yesterday evening. Within a couple minutes everyone in the parking lot were taking photos and video of, what at the time was largely an unknown phenomenon. Reactions from people all over Southern California as they saw this unknown light shoot across of the sky:

 “What did I just witness,”

“It must be a comet.”

“Was that a comet?”

“Something exploding in the sky,”

“I think I just saw a UFO.”

SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 mission from California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base in Santa Barbara. It carried a collection of 10 satellites into low-Earth orbit. #scienceallstars, #science, #ngss
